Senior Business Consultant

Join Altares D&B as a Senior Business Consultant, where you'll lead in identifying and managing financial, legal, strategic, and security risks for our esteemed clients. Leverage your extensive IT Security, Risk, and API architecture expertise to qualify leads in the vibrant Benelux market. As a trusted advisor, you'll engage directly with customers, understanding their challenges and requirements, and strategically aligning solutions. Showcase your in-depth knowledge of Altares D&B's offerings to drive impactful results and make a real difference.

Main Responsibilities

• In collaboration with Product management, colleague Business Consultants in other D&B disciplines and the Sales teams you formulate the best possible solution(s) for D&B’s customers and prospects;
• Assisting customers, prospects and Sales Representatives to build a compelling and competitive business case and ROI;
• Scope and clearly translate defined requirements, proposed solutions and value proposition into proposals/Statement of Work (SOW);
• Developing and boosting knowledge internally (with your direct colleagues, product management and the sales verticals) and externally (with customers and prospects).
• Active networking and participation in (industry) events, likes to be on stage and represent Altares D&B as subject matter expert.
• Developing data analyses, with which your provide relevant insights aimed at control
• Ensuring correct implementation of the requirements in the processes

Requirements & Profile

The characteristics and experiences, which the ideal candidate should demonstrate, include:

• Has a large network in Belgium
• Has a high level knowledge of recent developments in the market;
• High energy level, continuous curious and looking for solutions;
• Creative, strong analytics and at the same time able to build (both internal as well as external) relationships;
• Continuously learning, innovating and highly adaptive skills;
• Senior, C-Level appearance;
• Result and target driven – excels in commercial environment;
• Excellent communication skills and stage presence, can represent D&B with external stakeholders if required (industry bodies, regulators, press, etc)

• MSc level;
• A minimum of 10 years consultancy experience with proven track-record in multinational companies;
• Experienced in simultaneously managing several projects;
• A firm basis in consulting skills, holds complex stakeholder management skills;
• Fluently in Dutch and English. This is a strict requirement. French is a plus;
